Creating and Enabling Faithful Followers of Christ

Harvest Church uses a systematic approach to Sunday School for ages 0 - 12th Grade.

We have decided what we want students to believe when they graduate and walk away from our ministry.

We teach with the "end in mind".

We are creating and enabling leaders and parents to synchronize their efforts in achieving a master plan.

We use a strategy not just a curriculum.

We start with WONDER and help preschoolers embrace a God who is bigger than their imagination.

We add DISCOVERY so children can understand how to grow in their relationship to God and His truth.

We fuel PASSION by giving students opportunities to be the church and to make a difference influencing their generation.

Our goal is to make sure that our curriculum is always relevant, biblical, engaging and experiential. But, there are five additional distinctives of our resources.
  1. Perpetually Innovative - Timeless ingredients being rewritten and repackaged continually.
  2. Uniquely Customizable - We make it fit our environment.
  3. Parent Linked - parents connected and engaged to be involved in the overall strategy.
  4. Leader Centric - built around establishing consistent leaders in the lives of kids and teenagers.
  5. Comprehensively Strategic - each component is intentionally created.
3 AGE-APPROPRIATE CURRICULUMS BUILT AROUND ONE STRATEGY
3 STAGES OF LIFE
ONE END IN MIND

first look

Designed for preschool age kids (ages 1-5), our First Look curriculum was created to give preschoolers a first impression of their loving, Heavenly Father.

We use several key strategies so that by the age of five a child will know:
  • God MADE me.
  • God LOVES me.
  • Jesus WANTS to be my friend forever.
There are two separate age-specific lesson plans for ages 1-2 and ages 3-5 included in the curriculum. Each week includes four simple segments to teach the key truth and weekly Bible story: make if fun, make it true, make it stick, make it real . This curriculum also includes Small Talk, a guide for parents to take with them and start conversations about God at home.
